What is a Unger Liquid? This is a chemical detergent designed to clean windows. It is supplied concentrated and is diluted with water to become a solution.
Why should I use Unger's Liquid? It is economic use, less than 20p per 5L bucket based on a 1L purchase and even cheaper with purchasing a 5L bottle. It is also eco-friendly, see the Safety Data Sheet for more details. But most of all, it does a good job of cleaning windows.
What are the Unger product codes? The 1L plastic bottle code is FR100 and 5L plastic container is FR500.
How much do I use? The ratio of water to detergent is 100 to 1. So for every Litre of water you would add just 10ml of detergent. For a typical house use a ucket and make up between 3L and 5L of solution.
Tip: Window cleaners will often use warm water for making the solution.
How do I put the solution on to the window? Most window cleaners will use an Applicator. You will a range of Applicators on this site. Other methods include using a sponge or a cloth, but the best way is by using an Applicator.
How do I remove the solution from the window? The best way is by using a Squeegee. We supply a wide range of Squeegees, you will find them on this site under Squeegees.

Can't I just use washing up liquid? Many people do. However this product has been developed by Unger specifically for window cleaning and has proved a popular choice of many window cleaners.
How do I store the liquid? In a safe location, away from children. Do not allow the liquid top freeze.
